I'm just browsing the online trek'ver's Star Charts and was wondering what the most remote, most isolated planet and space station in the fed is?
As far as planet there are many to chose from, but space station could it be Starbase 173 on the back side of the Romulan Star Empire? Or Starbase 36 or 105 or 117 on the far side of the Klingon Empire?
You would have to go all the way around those two political entities to get to them, since in the shows we see how huffy they get when someone enters them.
Deep Space 3 looks pretty far out there too past the First Federation.
