most annoying tv character in history

Trubinator

Rear Admiral
Rear Admiral
What do you guys and gals think? Who's the worst in the scifi/fantasy genre? Wesley Crusher always seems to be a runner up, but my vote goes to Connor from Angel. He was a horribly immature brat who ruined every scene he was in for me. The pits...

So, come on! Who do you hate the most?

Quark.

"Hate" is too strong a word but combine the disdain people routinely express for Wesley Crusher, Neelix, Jar-Jar Binks and anyone else you care to name, multiply it by a thousand or so and it isn't even close to the contempt I hold for Quark.

Child character: Boxey from old BSG.

Adult character: Neelix. :p

(EDIT: ^ Ah, how could I forgot about Jar Jar... he trumps even Neelix. And little Anakin is also worth of note. Episode I was such a character suckfest. Of course, they aren't TV characters.)

I cannot believe I left out my runner-up in this category: Byron. What a repulsive creature.

Neelix - I'm pretty sure "creepy sex offender" wasn't the vibe the actor was going for but that's what I got.

yeah, Byron, my money are on him to win this. The guy didn't have a single redeeming quality. Connor had at least one of the best birth scenes ever... possibly the best ever. Neelix annoyed the hell out of Tuvok, which was fun. And I actually liked Wesley Crusher. I'm saying this because I consider these three worthy runner-ups to the title (even if I liked Wes, I can see why he's not the most beloved character, eh). But Byron, c'mon...:censored:

Perhaps, although at least there were a lot of scenes that he wasn't in. And he got a lot better in Season 5 after he got his memory erased.

Wesley Crusher was kinda annoying at the time but I'll give him a pass because Wil Wheaton is a pretty cool guy IRL.

Starbuck on the new Battlestar Galactica is a crazy, obnoxious bitch. Sam Anders is way too good for her. The fact that Apollo can't stop mooning over her just makes him look pathetic. I was ecstatic when she died. Why did she have to come back?:(

I only ever saw one episode of Babylon 5 with Byron in it and I don't think he was even in it very much, yet I still hated him instantly.

But no TV character has ever so thoroughly ruined a show for me as Lana Lang on Smallville. She's whiny. She's stupid. She gets kidnapped every other episode. She's not even that hot (especially when you have Chloe & Lois waiting in the wings). So why is Clark Kent so pathetically ga-ga over her? And why have the writers refused to kill her off or rewrite her so that she's not that annoying? But her greatest sin is that she's such a pervasive presence on the show that you can't just ignore her (the way that I tried to ignore Connor on Angel or any scene on Battlestar Galactica that doesn't have Gaius Baltar in it).

Neelix
Harry Kim
Steve Urkel
Pete Ross
Erin Driscoll's daughter (24: Season Four)
Lynn McGill (24: Season Five)
Any character played by Rob Schneider

Oh I forgot to add the moody anti-social b*tch Chloe from 24,
chloefd6.jpg

I was hoping they would kill her off but instead they killed off great characters like David Palmer and Michelle Dessler

Chloe stinks as a character, she's probably way more annoying than Wesley Crusher or Cally from re-imagined battlestar

If you really want annoying there's a whole host of comicbook characters like Antman, WonderWoman etc who should have remained abandoned in the 1960s
