More Trivia

^I already ruled "Spock's Brain." Kirk falls to the deck when he passes out.

No, no. I meant the part blow the surface of the planet where the Eymorgs have the crew all knocked out and then they put the belts on them. Then they sit them all up in chairs while they are still unconscious. Then they press a button on their bracelets and wake them all up.

I going to give it up now since folks who are huge fans haven't gotten it.

I saw the episode 30 times myself, probably, and didn't notice it until this week.

In the very opening interior shot/scene of 'Metamorphosis', Kirk is sitting in the left pilot seat and is dozing and Sock's first line causes him to wake up.

It's very subtle and very cool and to me emphasizes a little that it's just routine little errand in bringing Hedford to the Enterprise and he's catching a few winks or is bored.

I dunno... it's a stretch to call that sleeping. He was sitting fully upright, his head only a little bit bowed. It was at best a light doze, and could've been simply resting or meditation, not sleep at all. So I can't accept that as a valid answer.

Sorry, to doze IS to be sleeping.
I didn't say he was in a deep sleep---I said he was sleeping.
He was and frankly this arrogant attitude is just lame and tiresome.

Nobody gives a shit about Christopher's defination of what sleeping is---how about Webster's?

Okay, which episode did Sulu appear and not say a line and which did he NOT appear and did say a line.

Sulu definitely had lines in "Where No Man."

The episode where Sulu appears and has no lines is "Catspaw." He's a mute zombie until the end, and in the final scene, he's free but still doesn't say anything.

I don't know in which episode Sulu has a line without appearing. I assume it's one where he's only heard on the intercom, but I tried the likely suspects (i.e. ones taking place mostly or entirely off-ship) and couldn't pin it down.

Right on Catspaw.

And yes, it's a intercom voice-over.

Except I just lost my note on which ep. it is!!

Pretty sure it's Charlie X where Kirk calls for security guards to the gym.

Nobody ever guessed on the latest intro of a top-billed guest star............

It's Marlena in Mirror-Mirror---she first appears nearly 24 minutes into the episode!

New one: What three episodes do they heat rocks to keep warm?

New one: What three episodes do they heat rocks to keep warm?

"The Enemy Within," "A Private Little War," and "Spock's Brain." I was going to say "Friday's Child," but that's the one where they use magnesite nitron tablets instead.

Four titles from Shakespeare quotes:
Further Hint: Production order is in Reverse alphabetical order:
1. D
2. C
3. B
4. A

"Dagger of the Mind" (Macbeth)
"The Conscience of the King" (Hamlet)
"By Any Other Name" (Romeo and Juliet)
"All Our Yesterdays" (Macbeth again)

Too easy.

Right.

What episodes did Kirk not appear on-screen in the teasers?

In "The Naked Time" Kirk can be heard giving the Captain's Log and as a voice over a communicator, but does not physically appear onscreen.

Also "Tomorrow is Yesterday".

That plus "Devil in the Dark" I think about covers it.
