That is the single worst idea I have ever read.I think they should definitely have Nimoy in the next for one final scene in which Quinto's Spock kills Nimoy...then it will be officially final.
I also read that after making this movie, he said he would definitely play Spock again if the story required it. So who knows? After all these years, I trust Leonard Nimoy to play the character right. If he doesn't like his place in the story, he won't return.I also get the feeling reading/listening to Nimoy interviews, he needed to be dragged out for this one, but was convinced it would be quality. I don't know that he is interested in sequels.
How do you feel about having Nimoy in the sequels? Does Old Spock have a greater place in this new universe, or should we just leave well enough alone?
