More Jammer TNG Reviews

I know, and I am sorry for bringing it up. In fact, there was a Jammer Sighting yesterday which is always cool.

A Jammer Sighting? Do tell. ;)

The Jammer lurks about. He doesn't post a lot, but he reads TrekBBS semi-regularly, particularly in threads where he notices his name, or in the BSG forum, because there's discussion of a currently airing series in there. He also refers to himself in the third person, because he's a self-diagnosed narcissist. :p

Okay, that's better. I don't post a lot in the Trek forums because I've mostly said my piece on Trek in the form of the reviews. And in the case of TNG, I'm saving it for the upcoming reviews.

There was a time that I was more active on the board, but those days are mostly behind me. Now I just drop by to say hello from time to time, and lend PKTrekGirl an occasional hand.

Well, for whatever it's worth Jammer, you're always welcome. ;) I for one enjoy your reviews, so I wouldn't mind if you hung around and posted stuff.

Oh wow, my first live Jammer sighting!! ;)

I thoroughly enjoy reading your reviews, even when I’m not watching! I’m glad you fully committed to reviewing TNG. You can’t have reviewed DS9 without doing the same for TNG! Both shows are very comparable.

Hope to see you around more in the TNG & DS9 forums!

Well, we were trying to subtly nudge you into checking your zipper, but if you're not going to take the hint ...

Looks like we talked Jammer into giving Defector 4 stars. Either that or he changed his mind for some inexplicable reason. ;)

Jammer, if you're there, I just wanted to say how much I've always enjoyed your reviews.

In fact, I was religious about reading them back when I first got into DS9, and found that they really enhanced the viewing.

They're often funny and incisive and intelligent and I just wanted to say thanks.

Actually, I know this thread was resurrected against policy, but now that it has I want to take this opportunity to say that watching DS9 in it's original run, I never considered it to be something I would rewatch; it just wasn't that Trekkian to me.

But then nuBSG aired and I got more of an appreciation for this kind of storytelling, then I started to read Jammer's reviews and began to reconsider. When the entire series DVD set went on sale for half-price I sprung for it, rewatched the whole series with my new Jammer-spective, and now it's my favourite modern Trek.

So thanks Jammer.

When I started watching the new Battlestar Galactica earlier this year, it was great to read Jammer's reviews. It was nice to know you could read someone's thoughts of the episodes without any spoilers - as long as you avoided the comments at the bottom.

So yes, cheers Jammer!
