So yesterday I decided to go ahead and do my own version of the 32nd Century version of the Crossfield class.

I started by using my own custom Crossfield seen below and worked from that:

So from that I began to make this:

The design itself incorporates some elements of the Buran-class (deflector) and Glenn-class (saucer details and where the glows will be) from STO while also using swept-forward pylons that are tilted up at an angle for a more classic Starfleet look.

Wrap-around warp grilles are carried over from my previous version of the nacelles and just incorporate the added glowing portions as seen on the Discovery-A.

I'm still making a few tweaks to the design as I go so feedback is very much welcome (provided it doesn't require rebuilding entire sections of the model lol).

I'll probably start working on texturing it this coming week. To see how the textures on my previous version look, you can see the model here:

Glad to see somebody raising the nacelles.
    Outstanding!

The nacelles are in a good layout -- raised up enough to give it a trek look, but low enough to be below the saucers CG

    Thanks!

I've actually gone ahead and moved the pylons backward to their original position and begun work on a more Glenn-class style bridge module which fits the overall aesthetic better.

The ship will also have 12 programmable matter-based weapons hardpoints that can be reconfigured on the fly as either phaser pulse cannon turrets or phaser beam turrets. Torpedo tubes have been modeled into the hull at the base of the neck (Galaxy-class style, but there's two tubes side-by-side) and on the back hull slope under the shuttlebay. Kinda tired of seeing torpedoes appearing from random places on the hull in the show (like the saucer (S1) and nacelles (S2)) so I figured I would rectify that).
