Moon People Legends

In all seriousness, does any one have any information about "Moon People" except Wiccan references? I seem to remember Druids performing human sacrifice.

Any other cool legends any one recall?

Cultures that have Shinto influences like Japan have explored it. Off the top of my head I've seen references to it in Destiny of Shrine Maidens, Ceres: Celestial Legend, and Lunar Legend Tsukihime and in the manga, Crescent Moon.
