A short break isn't always a bad thing.
Cool for you (I guess). Some of us expect better run organizations that can figure out how to get things done. I'm not in the habit of settling for less, but there's nothing to be done in this case. Oh well.Meh, like I said somewhere else, though it sucks, I've made my peace with it and it doesn't really bother me that much, especially now that it's all laid out in the open and made official. The silence was the only thing bothering me before now, as it gave the impression everyone had just stuck their heads in the sand hoping they could avoid addressing the issue.
Oh, I don't know. I can tell you, BBC is definitely calling better shots than management where I work.Cool for you (I guess). Some of us expect better run organizations that can figure out how to get things done.
It's true, I certainly am.I'm not in the habit of settling for less
Seems oddly appropriate, since Moffat's era is all about waiting (waiting is even part of Amy Pond's storyline) so it only makes sense we have to wait for the endIt is odd that it's a long wait, not for the new era, but for Moffat's last series!
Actually, we're waiting the exact same amount of time between the announcement of Chibnall taking over (2016) and his first season (2018) as we did between the announcement RTD was going to revive the show (2003) and the first season airing (2005) and the announcement Moffat was taking over (2008) and his first season (2010). Two years for a new showrunner to get things in order seems to be the norm for Doctor Who these days.Even longer for the new era to start.

Oh boy
Capaldi's got knee trouble.
It was announced that he had knee surgery back in November; he sustained an injury while filming season 9.
When I first met Matt he was on crutches, and I asked, “What happened to you?” And he said, “This show mate.”
I hope he keeps the beard for Season 10.

Still, Capaldi with a Beard in season 10 would be nice.
I think he looks nice in that picture and would like that if he kept his beard.
\Oh boy
