Moffat: No Two-Parters in Series 7

^ Yep. Again there most likely will be threads strung throughout the series. Just because there aren't any two parters doesn't mean an arc still won't exist. Or several for that matter.

Personally I prefer the two-parters. Any episode that has no time for running up and down corridors is pretty poor in my view. Only a handful of single episodes have been really good since the series started. There is just no time to establish a plot or any supporting cast in single episodes. Oh well, I guess it's money that talks.

Except for Victory of the Daleks, I can't really think of any episodes that would have been better stretched out.

I definitely thought the Siliurian and Ganger two-parters were an episode too long though. What could have been cool, effecient little stories were unfortunately padded out beyond belief.

Victory of the Daleks, Good Man Goes to War, Wedding River Song all needed to be two parters. The Silurian and Ganger stories REALLY needed to be one parters on the other hand...

"Victory of the Daleks" and "The Wedding of River Song" barely had enough plot to fill one part!

Well with Victory, it's not so much the existing storyline, it's the fact you're dealing with Daleks... in WWII. Something like that just naturally feels like it SHOULD be a two-parter.

The short, cheesy story we got just didn't do the idea justice at ALL, unfortunately.
