^I ran into the same thing. While my K/D is usually pretty crappy anyways, I found that while I'm normally able to pull off games somewhere in the area of 12-15 kills, when I was noob-tubing, I would rarely pull more than 5 kills. A lot of times, the bloody thing wouldn't detonate unless I was trying to launch it clear across the map.

I haven't touched the grenade launcher since I unlocked whatever attachment it was that came after it.

I only break it out when the other team resorts to a lot of noob tubing. Then I've got a class with danger close and I use a thumper as a secondary. I'm sure the other team is sick of me by the time the game is over, but I figure if they start the shit, I'll finish it.

It is currently unknown what Challenges, Titles, and Emblems there are, only how many of each. There are 20 new Challenges, 10 Titles, and 10 Emblems.

Perks

Perks are going to be added in the map pack. The first two are new, while the third is from previous games.

* Quickhands (allows the player to switch weapons faster)
* Heterochromaniac (allows the player to toggle thermal vision)
* Overkill (allows the player to equip two primary weapons.)

Weapons

There are three new weapons to be added in the map pack.

* Dragunov - A semi-automatic sniper rifle.
* Skorpion - A submachine gun
* Unknown weapon

Special Ops

There are five new Spec Ops missions in the new section, "Foxtrot".

Once you open them up Cold Blooded and Ninja are your friends. No more Harriers to worry about, Sentry guns ignore you, heartbeat sensors don't detect you. It's not Heaven-but its close.

Amen to that, stick i silencer on the end of that weapon, add a claymore and watch your popularity soar as your message box fills up with some of the most exotic profanity you will ever have read.

If you really want to learn some new and creative phrases try lightweight/marathon/steady aim with a TAR21 w/noob tube and run counter-clockwise circles around the map the whole game at full speed.

I think I read somewhere that XBL got it on a 30-day exclusive, so it should be on PSN at the end of April. Don't have a link for that though, so could be wrong.

I played something called free for all last night and found a new map called Rust....i wonder how many more there are that dont appear in team or S+D.

Stimulus Package is a downloadable map pack scheduled to be released for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in Spring 2010. It will be available for the Xbox 360 thirty days earlier than for other systems. The downloadable content includes five maps. Two maps make a return from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare: Crash and Overgrown. The other three are Complex, Compact, and Storm. The map pack is set to be released for the Xbox 360 on March 30, 2010 and possibly for the PS3 and PC on April 29, 2010.

We're getting 5 maps. That's it.

I may have been tempted by the Dragunov, but that's about it. I'm hardly playing the game at the moment so I doubt I'll pick it up either way.

For 5 maps, it's hard to see how they could possibly justify a price tag of 1200 points if that's what it ends up being.

One thing i am not looking forward to is getting booted out of perfectly good rooms because you don't have the map packs scenario all over again, but of course that's what its intent on doing so you eventually just cave in and buy it, just another form of aggressive in your face adverting.

It won't be 1200 points. Likely it'll be 800 points.

The map packs from Treyarch for W@W were 800 points, and they contained 3 MP maps and a Zombie level. I can't see the MW2 maps being any more expensive, seeing as we're only getting 3 original maps, and two recycled ones.

800 points would be about right based on previous packs. Can't remember how much the MW1 one was?

With the knowledge that the WaW ones were reduced after a while, I may just wait and pick them up later. Too many other games to play.

One of our mates has only got MW1 so we're spending some time playing that again at the moment. Although he has ordered MW2 now so perhaps that will change.

Who am I kidding, I'll probably pick it up.......

Just noticed something odd; normally, game add-ons and such arrive on XBL and PSN on Thursdays. All three map packs for W@W came out on a Thursday. Yet March 30th is a Tuesday. Strange.

I don't pay that much attention in general, but for Rock Band tracks, they come out on Tuesday for Xbox and then Thursday for PS3. Seems like that would be the same 'game add-on' type category as a map pack... I don't know too much about what limitations there are on releasing content to XBL, but a Tuesday sounds reasonable to me.
