I'm a little surprised that (it seems) we'll be playing an American soldier defending his home territory again. After the end of the Ramirez campaign, I was hoping for a counter-attack against the Russians in MW3.
But I agree with Angel that the Price/Soap storyline is much more interesting, overall.

Nice trailer and surprised they released it before E3 but I have a hard time buying the fact WW3 is happening without the nuke factor. I guess we will get a 5-6 hour SP with half the numbers of maps in multiplayer because the rest will be released via DLC 
.
I wish we had sp co-op but I guess I will end up getting it in 2012 since I enjoyed MW 1 & 2, thank god its not a Black Ops sequel by just Treyarch that game was so MEH !

Since Germany already overeact to every FPS game on the planet and makes it hard for them to be released out of some wacky idea I guess that the Third Reich will return and people will become like the infected in 28 days later if too many people play COD, L4D and MOH games...
How will they react when MW 3 bascially turns Germany into a war zone
they can if they use terrorist and guerilla tactics, as well as conventional military tactics, and only engage in small limited-size, limited-objective ops.

Indeed, but who's to say that won't play a factor in the story somewhere. Really it'd almost have to be the endgame so maybe there's a nuke at the end of the game or possibly that there's a huge fight to prevent one country or another from launching one -- like it's continual sabotage mission everywhere.
Maybe China? They could probably take on all of that if China was with them. I'd also probably add in Iran and North Korea.

I hope the tank level is decent. I was hoping they would eventually do a COD with tanks and it looks like they finally got around to it.

erm, you mean a modern CoD, don't you? CoD 1 and 2 and United Offensive all had tanks in. UO even has tanks in MP!
(the lack of which pissed me off no end in MW2...(never played CoD2 or MW1 MP) though given the frigging wankers who tube-spam in MW2, i suspect Abrams/T72 spamming would be worse...)
