Usually when a local business wants to do a commercial they likely contract with local modeling agencies or something for the "talent" on screen. Naturally, these often pretty young women are good at looking good and not too much else, at least when it comes to screen work. Little can be known about their talents in other areas.
More often these local businesses tend to be new or used car lots, but there there's been other local businesses that've done it.
So anyway, maybe it's just the pool of models in my area but it seems like whomever is making the commercial and coaching these women isn't... Well, isn't doing a good job. The women usually shout in an unnatural tone of voice that sounds as if they're trying to talk to you in a loud room, rather than simply trying to project their voice on whatever it is they're trying to sell.
Is this a trend with local commercials in your area or do the models in my area just really suck at being in commercials?
