Modeling the Enterprise-D corridors and rooms

So, I'm interested in recreating TNG's Paramount Stage 9 set.

I had just purchased a copy of the blueprints of Enterprise D. I got it at a low price of $10 something (well, it was really $6 something, it costed me $4 for the seller to ship it to me). The problem is, the blueprints don't show what walls to use at which corridor section! It doesn't show what kind of doors to use for which room. I do know however that the sets' walls were 8 feet tall. I need to know how wide the doors were.

Also, I'm a beginner with modeling but I'm really interested in undergoing this project.

Unfortunately, if I download 3ds Max, it'll only let me use it for 30 days then after that I have to buy it at a real high price. HOWEVER! Wings 3d or Anim8or (I'm really familiar with Anim8or) would let me bring in models from 3ds Max.
Does anyone have reference pictures of Deck 10? The residential corridor?

I wanted to wait until I learn a thing or two about 3ds max, get me a printer and scanner, and start using photoshop before I started officially on this project but I couldn't wait so I started with anim8or. I just did the wall that had the black screen on the upper side.

I have the floorplan for the Stage 9 set which was the main corridor. Does anyone have or know where I could find the floorplan for Deck 10's residential corridor, which I believe was Paramount's Stage 8?

I'm willing to do the work but I want my work to look like this guy's work! Any thoughts or suggestions are well appreciated.

Hey, I own prints from the show and make trek graphics. I love the work!

Here is just two of many prints I own.

I have a thread with my work.

I have some blueprints that might help, but they're not easily accessible.

The most easily obtainable blueprints with the information that you seek would be the Star Trek: The Next Generation Technical Journal, which was written by Shane Johnson and published by Starlog. Johnson's drawings, while embellished with extra "Trek-world" surrounding rooms which didn't always exist on the soundstages, were closely based on soundstage plans, so the doorway widths would be measurable from the drawings in that book. (I believe the typical drawings' scale, although not directly stated in the Journal, was 1/4" to 1'.)

Once you know approximate doorway widths, you can look at screencaps from TNG in order to get the aspect ratio of a doorway, and from there you can calculate the height of the doorway.

Here are eBay listings for the ST:TNGTJ:

Oh, man! I should've got this instead of the blueprints. THANKS MAN!

The blueprints are way better than that book, lol... I own that book, and the drawings aren't the most accurate.
