Fillies and gentlecolts, we have yet another discussion thread and another new episode!
And it's a Fluttershy episode! I personally haven't had a chance to watch it yet, and I do apologize for getting this thread up so late!
So what are your thoughts?

I'm not the best fan of the fashion Manehattan episodes, but this one was pretty good. I love Flutters, of course, and it was cute how she kept changing from persona to persona. The ending seemed a bit fast, in that she was rather speciest towards raccoons who had been her friends, only to offer a quick "sorry I was just pretending" at the end, which isn't the best message to push. Still, a decent episode, it gets a B- from me.

I'm going with a B+ on this one. Spike is able to translate raccoon. And Fluttershy has officially figured out some chaos based magic. She was channeling Discord!

I liked this episode okay (Fluttershy is always one of my favorites), but it did suffer from a major issue I've noticed so far in the first four episodes of season 8. There was a lot of build up of the conflict, but a very abrupt resolution that was kind of glossed over. This show used to be really good about the resolutions, and exploring what lessons could be learned from them. But lately the conflict is tied up in one sentence or a character suddenly changes perspective with no indication of why. Overall I would say it was an average episode.
