Haha, I was telling my folks that I couldn't remember hearing about the Giants picking up Conrad, 'cause it sure seemed like he was playing for them.
I still say it was a bad move to pull Sanchez in the 8th there, since Romo has proven he can't keep the ball out of the hitter's sweet spot. Sanchez himself was saying he felt fine in the 8th and could have kept going...we could have seen another shut out and wouldn't have had to win it due to (another) error by Conrad.
On another note, this TBS broadcasting sucks. I hate how Dick Stockton says "Sanchez" with so much emphasis on the "chez" not to mention he can't even keep the fielders straight when there's been a defensive switch.
Anyway, here's hoping MadBum can get it done tomorrow and set us up for an underdog matchup against those damn Phillies. Oh and Cox, by all means, give Conrad another chance to start tomorrow.

And what's just as irritating is that the chop itself is only about 8 seconds, and just repeats over...and over...and over...and over...it's like listening to a damn car alarm.
My dad says he saw Jane Fonda, of all people, in the audience doing the chop. I thought she was too liberal for that.

As someone who hasn't found reason to outright hate the braves yet, I kinda like it, it's kinda catchy.
The Cardinals, on the other hand, with my old high school Ag teacher lording their "superiority" over the Giants as he trash talked the Giants, I cain't stands 'em!
