I had the same reaction, but to the Angels/Rays game.

Not so much today. Tulowitzki hit 2 homers for his 14th in 15 games. The Rox were 11 1/2 games out in August, now they're 1 game out.

The Good Guys sweep the Mets to get to within 2.5 of the Phillies. This september has been very exciting with the Phillies, Rockies, and Giants getting back into things.
Are you kidding me?????? It'd be really exciting if the last game of the season was for the division title. Regardless, I think both teams are in. However, Braves suck on the road and really need the home field advantage.
What a great ending. The Nats announcer was poo-pooing CBP after a homer by one of the Washington players, saying , "Play THAT in your bandbox!" Only to have Werth crush the walk-off to deep left-center field.

I wish I had the game on. Hearing the Nats broadcasters bitch makes it worthwhile. Honestly, if your that bitter about your team playing poorly, you probably shouldn't be covering Nationals games.

I mean, as badly as the Mets have been doing the last few years, you'd never know it by listening to their broadcasters. Cohen, Hernandez and Darling always keep it real. I've never heard them openly complain or sulk even in the worst of conditions.

Here's some shots from last Thursday's game. After the Giants dropped the first 2 games against the Brewers I wasn't much in the mood to post them, but today's game made me feel a lot better, so here they are. 
There's me doing my best ET impression.
I'm really hoping the Giants get the bats going more like they did today and less like Friday and Saturday. It's almost as if they're afraid of fully taking the lead in the NL West and want to stay close within a half game to those damn Padres. I just really want to see them break out and gain some ground here coming down the stretch...I want me some October baseball!

Er...where? They're all just looking up at the ludicrous amount of K's. (They wound up getting 13 strikeouts, meaning the entire ballpark got a coupon for free Johnsonville Brats!)

The greatest majority of trips to the ballpark are not like going through south central in the late 80's wearing the wrong colors.
It looks like they're looking at all the K's on the wall, although that one guy who's pointing is probably asking for an asswhipping, though.
I once overheard a kid at the park ask his dad why some of the K's were backwards. The dad, obviously not having the correct answer, said "Well son, sometimes they don't pay attention to how they put up the sign." I sooo wanted to correct him but making him look dumb in front of his son would be a dick move.
