DittoThere's no way I'd throw a ball back. I've been going to games for years and never caught a foul ball, homer, or anything.
Plus it's just so classless to throw it back.

The ball usually doesn't get tossed back at Yankee stadium unless it's a Boston/NY game or if it's really close
And what's weird is, all the fan wanted in return for giving the ball back, was another ball - autographed by Jeter. Why would a White Sox fan want that?![]()

Absolutely, classless. Also, in most parks, it's against the rules, and will get you ejected from the park. They treat it the same as if you were throwing anything ELSE out on the field.

Can't let people throw the balls back out on the field, and then get pissy if Phillies fans wanna throw batteries instead, I suppose...
Don't forget those syringes they threw at Bonds a few years back...
