I still can't get over Ned Colletti's deals for Los Angeles. If you're going to trade a promising young MLB pitcher and a decent position player prospect, you would probably want more than two months plus a team option of Octavio Dotel back. The package the Dodgers sent for two months of Dotel is essentially identical to the package the Phillies sent for a year and two months plus a team option of Roy Oswalt. And it's entirely possible -- likely, in fact, since he would have been out of the division instead of going to Texas -- that DeWitt, MacDonald, Lambo and Wallach would have gotten Cliff Lee from Seattle.

^Thanks!

Giants begin a very important road trip and swing tonight. Two game series at Coors. Hopefully they win and keep that hot streak going.

Mike Krukow, one of our commentators, advertising ticket sales "...and remember, with dynamic pricing, buy early and save large amounts of GLUE!" :wtf:

6, zip Giants so far.

The Cubs took their first lead in their last 51 innings this afternoon.

Naturally, it was coughed up an inning and a half later.

Blue Jays rookie catcher J.P. Arencibia gets two home runs in his debut, in the midst of the Jays slamming the Rays.

I know they're teasing me, but good job Jays.

Toronto's future looks bright :)

And today Brandon Morrow almost gets a no-hitter (ends up with a one-hitter in a 1-0 win.) Awesome couple of days for the Blue Jays!

Yeah, still waiting on that pennant!

Yeah, I do feel bad for the Jays. If they were anywhere else they would probably be leading their division
