MLB Talk - 2010 Season

The Rangers' pitchers must have eaten in a hurry and didn't chew their food, because they sure looked like they choked tonight!

I actually think they're going kind of overboard with this Fear the Beard stuff. I saw what looked like pre-printed and labelled beards being worn in the crowd. And they didn't look Brian Wilsonian, either. More like ZZ Top. Looked a bit silly, really.

Yeah, how dare those silly fans have fun with anything. And as we all know, all representations of player facial hair must be 100% accurate.

I thought I'd be rooting for the Rangers but I've discovered that I'm pretty pleased with the outcome so far.

And I think this article is a little bit nastier than that Rangers one.

It's cool, 'cause nothing compares to this asshole.

How I'd love to throw him into a windowless van and dump him off in the middle of the Castro district.

Jesus, what a dick. If I wasn't completely busy every day at all times for the next week, I would be watching this series as a life-long Giants fan.

Gooooooo Giants!!!

We watched the game. We thought it was odd when they did the Taco Bell commerical with the Yankees. Did TB assume the Yanks would win the pennant?

Well, the Giants did exactly what they had to do but how they did it was shocking. Who knew the Giants had this kind of offense and the Rangers bullpen would implode. I mean the two guys who have the most World Series experience (Jaun Uribe and Edgar Rentaria) are the guys who are coming through the most and it's so odd, especially with Rentaria because of how he played throughout the season.

And how about Matt Cain. I would argue that Cain is the absolute best pitcher in the playoffs. I mean everyone is talking about Lee or Lincecum but Cain hasn't given up a run. He's been lights out and it just feels like while the spotlight is on the other guys, Cain just goes out there casually and does his job.

Unreal game and wouldn't it be great if they won it on Halloween, with the whole Orange and Black theme. Don't want to get ahead of myself, but I can dream right? Still, who knew the Giants were this good?

Ok, I'm not afraid to admit it, but during this World Series Run, This song has actually brought me to tears. Just watching this video, I got Goosebumps.

Tim Lincecum looks like the dude from the Alice's Restaurant movie. This has annoyed me for months, and I just figured it out today.

Game three in Texas tonight. I'm nurvous and excited at the same time. Nervous because I don't know what we're going to get with Sanchez (Either the awesome Sanchez or the one that was in Philly last week) but I'm excited about the possibilities if they should win. Man this has been such a ride and such a season. We've got less than an hour to go before first pitch. Can't wait.

Watching the game now. It should be fun.

Go Giants!

At the moment, we are considering moving to Fremont when I'm doing my internship for my M.A. so this will be a good time to develop our habit of cheering for the Giants, especially with the sorry state the Nationals are in.
