I think the airlines returning to fully-booked flights is going to bite them in the ass at some point.
Did they actually do that?

It was reported on NPR back at the beginning of July that American Airlines would begin fully booking their planes again; they'd previously been blocking off the middle seats to physically distance the passengers. I can't find any evidence that any other carriers have tried to do this; bookings may still be so low that it's not an issue so far. (source: Here & Now, 7/1/20)Did they actually do that?
I can't watch the Brewers-Cubs game on ESPN because I don't have the Marquee network. It's not available to us Dish customers apparently. I have the app but they require you to sign in with your provider. No dice with Dish. I didn't think they coul blackout nationally televised games.
Yeah. I have it. Watching Cardinals game right now. I can get the Cubs game on YouTube live streaming service but it's $65 a month. The Cubs ain't worth $65 when literally everybody else's games are free.MLB Extra Innings is free this weekend on DirecTV. Is that something on Dish as well, or is it exclusive to DirecTV?
My thoughts exactly. The cutouts look so weird and ridiculous. And just how much money was wasted on shit?Watching the Angels at the A’s.
I guess I wasn’t paying attention to all the details (which sounds like me).
Okay, so...they are piping in fake crowd noises, and behind the plate they have cardboard cutout people.
Cardboard cutout people.
This is really the plan for televising baseball this season?
Why?

AFAIK, people pay money to have cutouts made of them, and that money goes toward COVID-19 research.
Why?
Fox is carrying the Brewers-Cubs game and thank God, no Joe Buck. I couldn't take Buck on opening weekend. Fox has their virtual fans packing Wrigley field in some views but not while the game is on. So far, the virtual fans were only in the opening on an overhead shot.
Being originally from Toledo, I grew up with Ernie Harwell doing Tigers games on the radio. On good old AM radios, if you held your tongue just right and sat facing the right direction, you might pick up the Indians, too. We even got WGN once in a blue moon.At least Sunday's game will be back with Len & JD. They aren't spectacular, but they aren't annoying like some national guys I could mention.
