MLB 2025: The A's are Playing Where Now?

The replacements are arriving. Skip Schumaker is the next manager of the Texas Rangers.

ETA: and the Cubs really stunk it up today.

Phillies crapped the bed. Dodgers always find a way to come back, which is probably the most annoying thing about them.

Surprised the Tigers pulled it out. Now with Skubal pitching tomorrow, they are basically in the drivers seat. Come on Seattle, don't have an early exit.

Teams have come back to win three straight when down 0-2 in a five-game series, but the Yankees pitching has given up 23 runs in two games. I can't see that turning around anytime soon.

No one told Detroit they were driving. Tridents up!

Thought the Phillies were dead in the water. Could they actually come back tonight?

And the answer is no, they can't come back. Especially when you bunt the runner over to third but the bunt goes right to the fielder expecting the bunt and they throw that runner out.

Lived in Wisconsin my whole life. It’s been surreal year for me. I lived in Milwaukee area as kid. Went to around 6 games a year second half of the 80s as part of Brewers Pepsi Fan Club. But late 1989 my family moved farther out of town and same year as Burton Batman was released. We went to fewer games and my interest shifted to comics, movies, and sci-fi. Also the players stopped being ones I recognized.

I occasionally went to the than new Miller Park. But since 2001 I live 1 hour drive north of the city. Before this year last game I went to was 2008. Day Bronze Fonz statue was unveiled. My Dad and I did all events that day. Unveiling ceremony. I got poster signed by every cast and crew member there. There was car parade before game, Henry Winkler threw out pitch. I will never forgot producer, creator of show Garry Marshall’s car stopped in front of me. I already met everyone earlier for signing. I said we were going game to that day. Garry was big baseball fan and wanted to talk about recent Brewers trade. I was embarrassed because I was way uninformed on what was happening with team. He smiled and parade advanced.

Anyways late last year I was getting nostalgic. Without knowing it listened to Bob Uecker’s last game. Lots of talk of Uecker magic more than anything his death got me to pay attention again. Through Kwik Trip I discovered I could get free tickets. That started on Easter long before I realized how good they would do this year. Of course I payed to go to Uecker memorial game. All together went to 5 games this year.

Anyways I am just grinning and grinning watching last 2 games. Wrigley North?! LOL 😆

I'm rooting for Toronto to finish off the Yankees today. I wish Philly had actually shown up but it doesn't seem like they have.
