He lost the no-hitter with 2 out in the 9th and the Dodgers lost the game. It's a shame when any pitcher loses a shot at glory like that, but eff the Dodgers (5 L's in a row now).

Harrison Bader hits a home run for the Phillies in Miami. Fans scramble for the ball. A father gets it and gives it to his kid who is a Phillies fan. An angry woman confronts him, claims he stole it from her. He gives it to her to end the confrontation so she'll just go away and she swipes the ball from the kid's glove. So the Marlins give the kid a gift bag. Then he got to meet Bader who gave him an autographed bat. Then Marcus Lemonis, Camping World CEO and star of CNBC reality TV show "The Profit," said he'd pay for the family to go to the World Series and also gave them an RV.
The Harrison Bader home run ball the lady took from the kid, Blowout Cards is offering $5000 for it, but she must sign it and inscribe, "I'm sorry."

Well...another reason to loathe the fucking New York Yankees. 
They should let him play one more game so it's official.
They should come up with a one-day roster exemption so some hard working scrapper doesn't have to lose a big-kid check.
Assuming it even works that way. I know how NFL rosters, contracts and game checks work for those who teeter between the 53rd/54th man. With the baseball league system, I assume it's different in the places it's not the same.
Talking head on TV says this will be the Angels' 10th straight losing season (unless they play lights out the rest of the way, which the broadcaster did not say). I looked it up to see if it was true, and not only is it true, they've lost every season since they dropped the "of Anaheim" part from their name.
That episode really hits home now. Funny how far ahead of everyone else The Simpsons were.
Thanks to the tiebreak, the Mariners hold a 1/2 game lead over the Astros in the American League West.
