MLB 2025: The A's are Playing Where Now?

And in Today in Baseball History on June 16th, 1990, the infamous Steve Lyons incident:

The current White Sox are so far past that level of embarrassing, they only wish it were that simple.

Rockies are 22-74 and on pace for 125 losses. White Sox lost 121 times last season. Cleveland Spiders are still the worst, going 20-134 in 1899 and that was only a 154 game season.

Let's go, everyone who plays against the Rockies!

I hate to state the obvious, but fans need to stop showing up.

They still average 30,000 fans a game. If these fans want a better product, stay home and hit Monfort where it hurts.

Fucking Pirates... you'd think they would be able to beat one of the three teams that has a worse W-L record than them, but instead they lost to the White Sox 10-1.

SOB would probably just take and move the team.

How many are the fans of the visiting team?

Turns out Rafael Devers has no problem playing first base as long as it's not for the Red Sox.

George Webb is a Wisconsin-based restaurant chain. Menu looks comparable to Denny's. If the Brewers win 12 in a row, the restaurant gives away free burgers. Seattle beat Milwaukee 1-0 last night to end their winning streak at 11.

Rockies shut out Cardinals, ending their streak of not shutting out anyone at 220 games. Third-longest streak in MLB history. The only two longer streaks were pre-1900 -- Washington Senators with 383, St. Louis Browns/Perfectos with 298.

Ichiro was inducted in the Baseball Hall of Fame over the weekend and he took time in his speech to call out the one sports writer who didn't vote for him, otherwise it would have been unanimous.

Came across a conversation about how stupid the hall of fame voting is with baseball writers and their egos and agendas, but then it quickly devolved into the conversationalists' own egos and agendas with the usual "A can't be 100% because B wasn't 100%," "C should've been 100% too" and "D shouldn't be in if E isn't in."

In baseball both the writers and their umpires think they're above the game and make it about themselves when they get butt hurt. Any other sports even close to that?

Cleveland closer Emmanuel Clase put on non-disciplinary paid leave while being investigated for sports betting.

This has been an awful season for Clase, both on the field and off. I was shocked when i heard that story, but considering how close sports leagues are getting to Gambling and these betting sites, I'm sure he won't be the last.
