In fact, that should happen more often!I have a book called Incredibly Strange Sports Stories, which I don't have access to at the moment; however, there is one story in it that I do remember about two baseball players in the 1950s who were traded between teams during a double header. The two men simply switched uniforms between games and played their regular positions for the second game.
