Must be some nasty shit on the East Coast. Mets/Tigers postponed again.
I would say so.

Add in the ridiculously warm February we had, at least in the Chicagoland area. It's been a bit of a letdown since then. We had some snow today, but it was too warm (all of 36º) for any of it to stick this time. Tonight's Cubs game could be a rainout. We had thunderstorms on Sunday and Monday, a winter weather advisory yesterday and a wind advisory today in eastern Iowa, for heaven's sake. Lousy fake spring in the upper Midwest.
Per local press, including the San Francisco Chronicle, the A's are going to announce this week that they will play in Sacramento's AAA ballpark beginning in 2025.
Manfred is bending over backward to support a bad owner. Does he not see what's going on in the NHL with the Coyotes?
What happens to the A's after they're in Sacramento? They have no plan. They could be there forever.
That's the elephant in the room...Manfred is bending over backward to support a bad owner. Does he not see what's going on in the NHL with the Coyotes?

So the A's finally have a chance, albeit a slim one, to have a sellout crowd?Wait, what?
Are you talking about Sutter Health Field? That holds 14,000 people. Probably more than the attendance at any A's game last year, now that I think about it.
It's actually a nice little ballpark. Across the river in West Sacramento, home of the River Cats. That would be awesome to catch some Angels games there.
Speaking of which, the Angels are in first place in the West, just as I predicted.

"We're excited to be here for the next 3 years, playing in this beautiful ballpark - But also being able to watch some of the greatest players in baseball whether they be Athletics players or Aaron Judge and others launch homeruns out of this most intimate ballpark in all of major league baseball for the next 3 years."

The Dodgers really are garbage.

Personally, I have as much dislike for Manfraud as I do for the Astros, from the cheating scandal. I feel like the Ohtani thing will get swept under the same rug.So are the Astros, at least so far, which I'm sure a lot of you like. LOL. Sad for me though, but I'm sure I'll live through it. I still got CJ Stroud and the Texans to root for.![]()
