Bryce Harper hit his first home run in last night's game. Then his second. Then his third.
We had thunderstorms on Sunday and Monday, a winter weather advisory yesterday and a wind advisory today in eastern Iowa, for heaven's sake. Lousy fake spring in the upper Midwest.
Add in the ridiculously warm February we had, at least in the Chicagoland area. It's been a bit of a letdown since then. We had some snow today, but it was too warm (all of 36º) for any of it to stick this time. Tonight's Cubs game could be a rainout.
ETA: Braves at White Schlox has already been PPD, but then their Monday game had rain delays where the Rockies-Cubs game didn't.

Are you talking about Sutter Health Field? That holds 14,000 people. Probably more than the attendance at any A's game last year, now that I think about it.
It's actually a nice little ballpark. Across the river in West Sacramento, home of the River Cats. That would be awesome to catch some Angels games there.
Speaking of which, the Angels are in first place in the West, just as I predicted.
The A's better be on a tear by the time they get to Vegas. They don't have the national fanbase to weather bad times in LV, like the Raiders do.

Dodgers@Cubs, Imanaga and Yamamoto are pitching in different games. A shame, that would have been an epic matchup on so many levels.

Seems like everyone is getting Tommy John these days. Are arms getting more overtaxed now or pitchers/doctors/managers/owners/whoever jumping to it faster for other reasons?
