Like I said, Angel Hernandez literally doesn't give a crap. He doesn't care about his job, or how bad he is at it. He acts like he would rather be anywhere other than the ballpark. He's not just a bad umpire (and Lord knows we've had plenty of those), he doesn't give a shit that he's a bad umpire. I mean, say what you like about guys like Joe West or Bob Davidson...at least they TRIED.

Giants swept the Dodgers and looked dominant doing it. I did not expect that this weekend. I hope the injuries stop though. Schmitt got hit on the Arm which didn't look good but hopefully nothing is broken.

I’m leaving tomorrow for Anaheim and heading to the Freeway Series on Tuesday and Wednesday.

This spring when we booked the trip, I would never have guessed the Angels would have a better record than the Dodgers at this point. Nor would I have thought we’d be in the wild card race, let alone the AL West.



What’s even better: Ohtani is scheduled to pitch Wednesday!!

When we went the last time (2018) we didn’t see him pitch, but he did come off the bench and hit the game winning HR in the second game.

Seeing Ohtani pitch live is one of my bucket list items.

Can’t wait!

I got a little more context on the story and they needed to bring up a catcher because Murphy went down. It's really unfortunate timing but I don't think there was any ill will behind it.

Giants are finding every way to win. Tonight was a walk off walk.

The Pirates seem to have remembered who they are, losing 9 straight and dropping to 4th place.

This includes two series sweeps by the Cubs.

Now it's the Reds potentially over-achieving with their 10th straight win and taking over 1st place in the NLC.

Both Central divisions are still the weakest links as they have been for a while. Whoever wins those will have the honor of being out in the DS, if not sooner.

Well the Freeway Series could not have gone worse for us. Two 2-0 loses, tonight against a platoon for Jim’s sake.

Angels wasted two good efforts by Detmers and Ohtani. Both deserved wins if our bats hadn’t gone silent.
