Tanner Houck is "bummed" that he won't be able to make a start in Toronto because he (and several other Redsox players) aren't vaccinated.

Well, then GET THE DAMN VACCINE, you moron

A few A's had to stay behind for a recent series in Toronto, including a couple ex-Jays players. Toronto traded the right guys there.

It's telling that he's parroting the same "it's my personal choice" bullshit that the anti-vaxx movement trumpets. Just get the damn shot, you weenie, it takes 30 seconds, doesn't cost you anything and at the very worst you might have the equivalent of a nasty hangover the next day.

There has to be at least one team with enough dipshits that they’d have to forfeit a game in Canada for not being able to field a full lineup.

If they make that choice, they shouldn’t get paid for games they can’t attend due to that choice.

Jake Arrieta officially retiring (tho I thought he already decided that months ago).

Career: 115-93, 3.98 ERA, 571 BB, 1433 K. Good enough for HoF or no?

I've been pro-pitch clock for years, but they should also enforce players not stepping out of the box after every single pitch to readjust everything over and over again.

Not even in the Hall of Very Good. Terrible during his time in Baltimore, two dominant years with the Cubs, mediocre after that (and then got tarred and feathered the rest of his career).

This is the thing. It's already literally a rule that the batter has to keep one foot in the box at all times or else be charged with a strike, the umpires are just afraid to enforce it.

Police saw people jumping out of an airplane, not knowing it was an Army parachute demo at Nationals Park, and the Capitol was briefly evacuated.
