Per Jed Hoyer, 3-4 Cubs players will not be with the team when they go to Toronto next week.

Can't wait to see who the anti-vax morons are. I'd bet Smyly and Gomes are on the list.

This story indicates two players.
No shots for Adrian Sampson and Justin Steele have meant the unexpected shots of a lifetime for two Cubs’ pitching prospects this week...

The Kansas City Royals — whose games have been meaningless since May — faced a roster nightmare on their trip to Toronto, with 10 players ineligible because of vax status.

This Yankees/Athletics series got me thinking: When the Raiders used to play there, they put a lot of extra seats in the Coliseum's outfield (seats which were literally dumped in a big heap in the parking lot when the A's were playing). What exactly did they do with all of those seats when the Raiders moved away? Give them to a school or something? Recycle them?

Could have gone any way. When the Cubs began their renovations of Wrigley Field and started by ripping out all the seats, they put them up for sale; the Madison Mallards, a summer league team in Madison, bought a bunch of them for their own renovations of Warner Park.

Anyone watching the games on Apple TV? The Phillies-Giants game has been without any broadcast team for the last 5 minutes. The only sound is the stadium noise.

Considering how bad the apple guys are that's an improvement.

Dylan Cease loses a no-hitter with one out remaining in the top of the ninth. Finishes with complete game shutout.

The Tigers were getting blown out and made Kody Clemens pitch. It was actually his sixth appearance on the mound this year. He got Ohtani for his first career strikeout. Now he only needs 4,671 more to catch his father.

Anybody know what exactly the hell happened in that Blue Jays/Orioles game?

I mean, Bryan Baker strikes out Matt Chapman and...the benches clear? What's that all about?
