The Cubs arguably have one of the best assets in the market, in that Tepera-Chafin-Kimbrel is basically "bullpen in a box," but Dave Dombrowski is the king of prospect hugging, and the Phillies' farm system is utterly bare. Dombrowski's already on-record as saying that he won't trade Abel or Stott, which means the Cubs are gonna Cub and trade all three to Philadelphia for a box of baseballs and the corpse of McCutchen.

Only thing that comes to mind is when Andre Dawson flipped the fuck out, went to the dugout after being ejected by Cowboy Joe (after a bullshit strike three call) and began hurling bats onto the field. I was at that game.

Brett was a notorious hothead. If he hadn't been restrained, he would have taken McClellan's head off.
