MLB 2021 season: Corn-Driven Humidity

I'm hating these bland streamlined All-Star uniforms with their respective team logos shoved in the corner.

Part of the appeal of watching the All-Star game is seeing all of these players in their own uniforms playing together. These ugly uniforms take away that magic.

I just tuned in, and I am totally w/ you on that.

Apparently another way to feed the revenue stream.

"New jersey Dad! New jersey! Buy me one or three pleazee..."

Years with the most no-hitters:

8: 1884
7: 1990, 1991, 2012, 2015
6: 1908, 1915, 1917, 1969, 2010, 2021 (as of 5/19/21)
5: 1962, 1968, 1973, 2014

This year is shaping up to be nuts.
With the news that MLB will probably go back to 9-inning doubleheaders next year, and now that we're at the All Star break, I decided to revisit this.

There are now seven official no-hitters this season (the seventh was a four-way by the Cubs against the Dodgers on 6/24), along with two unofficial no-nos (D'backs vs. the Braves on 4/25 and Rays vs. the Indians on 7/7) because of Commissioner Dipshit's utterly brilliant 7-inning doubleheader rule.

Yeah, it's ugly all around.

Where do I find the proper site to put in my two-bits about what should "slowly"--tie them down into the batting-cage and have them take repeated foulballs off their shins-- happen to the graphic moron designer and MLB executive that approved those horse-shit unis and helmets?

Thank Mighty Zeus.

The Angels are 5th in MLB team batting average, 8th in runs scored.

26th in ERA.

If we had even average pitching, we'd be 10+ games over .500.

The biblical punishment of the Asstros Logo 1a2 200x200.png continued with no 1st or 2nd round pick

I'm still more pissed about the pitiful punishment than the actual cheating. I know @Timby will have a fit, but a shame they couldn't have dug up Kenesaw Mountain Landis to hand down the law to the cheaters.

even though I'm listening to the radio feed I still had to hear Joe Fuck do the starting lineups :scream:
He's the absolute worst. I saw a YouTube video of the "last pitch of the last 20 World Series" and he was the voice on about 90% of the broadcasts the video showed. It was awful. Zero emotion, no resonance, sounds like he is reading a phone book but he just GETS LOUDER for some parts. Why oh why does he have a job?

It's depressing that they will bury the careers of not one but TWO generational talents in the mire of mediocrity.
It's like Barry Sanders and Aaron Rodgers BOTH played for the Detroit Lions.
