As much as I would like to see the Rays beat the Astros, it's the Astros who have the best chance of knocking off the Yankees. If not, then it's up to the NL team to do that. I strongly (and sadly) suspect that #28 is an all too real possibility.

As a Giants fan, watching that Grand Slam and then eliminating the Dodgers was very satisfying. Bumgarner is still a better postseason pitcher than Clayton Kershaw.

Unsurprising. The writing was on the wall for him when Charlie Manuel rejoined the team as a "special advisor" to Matt Klentak, and especially when they had Manuel replace Mallee as hitting coach a few months ago.
