....well, shit. Josh Harrison hit a walk-off home run to win the game. I can't imagine a worse feeling in baseball than. I feel terrible for Hill.

My heart broke when they traded him.
So I haven't watched much baseball this year, but are the Dodgers really that much better than everyone else?

You cannot describe this Yankees/Tigers game without using the word 'cluster'.![]()
Fulmer wasn't even warned for plunking Sanchez (which, in and of itself, was obvious retaliation), while Kahnle was immediately ejected for throwing behind Cabrera? Sloppy thinking on Carlos Torres' part.
^ No matter what one's feelings are towards retaliation in general, the umpires totally fucked up during that game:
- If Fulmer was wrong in hitting Sanchez, then why wasn't he warned?
Apparently not. Suspensions are:
Cabrera - 7 games
Sanchez - 4
Wilson - 4
Romine - 2
Ausmus - 1
Can't say I blame Girardi for being pissed. Segura was waving all over the base line, and it seemed obvious he interfered with Didi's throw to first. (Maybe not intentional, but I don't care.)
Wow, that's just sad. The Mets have often been known to be injury prone, but this is bad even by their standards.According to the media notes for yesterday's game, Jacob deGrom and Jerry Blevins are the only two players on the Mets who have been on the 25-man roster all season without going to the DL or being kicked down to the minors.![]()
Uh, this isn't a gameday live-posting thread, care to share some context with the rest of the class?
