Mitchell and Webb & Psychoville

Incidentally on the Torchwood front, the radio plays on R4 this past week were very enjoyable.
If you hurry, they're still available for download from the Radio 4 website. (Each episode expires on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday respectively.)

Poor Monday night viewers. :guffaw: Sadly, I'll be watching Torchwood that day.

(suddenly thinks)

D*MN! Thursday night is Dilemma Night! :(

What dilemma? Watch Torchwood and Psychoville and then iplayer Mitchell and Webb as soon as Psychoville finishes, and save Mock the Week for Friday, either pre- or post-Torchwood because there's zero else on. That's my plan and I'm sticking to it.

It's going to be a glorious week, starting with Top Gear tomorrow!
There's rumours that Torchwood s4 has already been picked up and they're going to announce it on Friday, no matter how well this series performs...

I hope so. I'll struggle to think of it as 'series 4' though, because it's hard enough to consider this week's outing an actual series.

thats not something im having a problem with

Yeah I'll get over it pretty quick. I find it ironic considering how often I deride Americans for complaining about 6/13 episode series being 'short' that this has bothered me at all.

would it make you feel any better if you inculded the 4 Radio 4 episodes as part of S3?

that gives you 9 episodes, you could also count TSE/JE thats another two.

Giving you 11 episodes

Counting episodes of Doctor Who would just make me feel dirty. Radio plays are fine though - I really liked Lost Souls.

EDIT - wow those websites are brilliant. I had no idea they even existed, let alone they'd gone to town so much on this. Mr Jelly's website is making me wish I could book one of his parties. And thanks to Lomax I now know how to spot fake commodities!

The funny thing is how similar the URLs are for Mr. Jelly and Mr. Jolly. Can easily get them confused. :guffaw:

Actually, according to Psychoville's wiki entry, there are some other websites planned, under construction.

It all reminds me of the great League Of Gentlemen book. The sites seem to be written in the same way.

Was just looking round to see if there was any info on when Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss' Sherlock is airing, and noticed that Mark Gatiss is in the next 5 episodes of Psychoville...

Next five?! How many are there? I just assumed there were six in this series, cos that's how UK works as we know.

Sweet Baby Jeebus Titty Fecking Christy On A Stick! Psychoville was half an hour of inspired, twisted genius this week. The three Gentlemen reunited in sheer wonderfulness on toast.

Blimey, this show's good.

Torchwood, followed by Psychoville... best night of TV in a LONG time.
