Mission to Horatius ISBN

I've been looking on the internet for the ISBN number of the original 1968 edition of Mission to Horatius but all I can find is the ISBN of the 1999 reprint. Does anyone know the ISBN of the original? Does the original even have an ISBN?

There were no ISBNs in 1968. Or bar codes, for that matter. The only number on the book is 1549, on the back cover.

ISBNs were invented by the Klingons, first used on Earth in the UK (which is why UK ISBNs start with 0), and imported to the US around 1970. See the 1966 UK report on standard numbering in the book trade.
