Missed my own ten year anniversary by a month and three days.

I totally blanked on the fact that I joined here over ten years ago. A lot of stuff has happened in that time. I remember i joined mainly because I wanted advice with the school project I was doing at the time, a DS9/FC style uniform:

Yeech. At least I've aged with grace.

It's been an interesting ten years. A lot has happened, I've made a lot of great friends here, had a lot of laughs here. Who knows how long I'll stick around. Ten more years, maybe?

looks quite good imo. You just let your shoulders hang a bit.
Does the uniform still fit you? Decades do weird things to one's waistline...:D

Congratulations to your anniversary :)

I was so busy at work i forgot abut my own thread!

It still does fit, but mostly because it's stretch material. Here's how it looked last time I wore it, back in '09 when I went to see the latest Trek movie:

Granted, bro was rocking my old TNG one better than I can these days.:

And thank you, both of you :)

You look handsome!
I gather your bro is a fan of a certain Immortal from Glenfinnan? :D
What are all these medals near the door frame?

Nah, he trains Iaido, Japanese sword art. I have yet to show him Highlander, really should do so.

The medals are my sisters swimming medals. Or rather, a fraction of them. She swam A LOT.

admirably! I rather follow the noble example set by certain water beetles (the Elmids) who spend all their lives submerged yet are unable to swim. :D

Your bro might like the Highlander series. Adrian Paul apparently had good sword teachers and handles his Katana rather well (though too showy, but that's always the difference between stage fighting and the real thing).

Heh. :) My sister swam too, and she had a similar string of medals hung up on the living room wall which, from a distance at least, looked very much like what I see in that photo.
