Misfits Series 3

Agreed, I fully expected to (if not hate) seriously dislike Rudy, but the guy sold it and turned me around.

Not my favorite character, but he's second now behind Kelly. (Since Simon & Alica are gone).

I'd love to see Nathan come back, but I'm not sure that would work at this point storywise (not to mention real life considerations).

I'm having the thought that "The Power Broker" will be apart of the gang now since he's the closest thing to a major recurring character they've got.

Hopefully Curtis can get rid of his useless Zombie power and Kelly can make some use out of her strong attitude tempered with super-intelligence.

Joseph Gilgun, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Matthew McNulty, Karla Crome, Nathan McMullen, Matt Stokoe and Shaun Dooley sign on for a few games of table football at the community centre as Misfits continues filming.
Orange boiler suits? Check. Probation workers with questionable moral guidelines? Check. Surly attitudes and a somewhat cavalier approach to community service? Check and check. Propensity to get involved in life-threatening situations involving power tools, glass bottles, freezers full of cornettos and the occasional body? Check, check and check. Oh and some weird-ass super powers? Most definitely CHECK!
Misfits is back. And it's business as usual. With a couple of new faces. And some powers right off the actual A-list. New girl Jess (Karla Crome - Hit and Miss, Murder) is zipping on the jumpsuit, she has X-ray vision. And - well actually that's it. Because Finn (Nathan Mcmullen - Shameless) who also joins Jess, Rudy and Curtis in the locker room, he's telekinetic, but not in an A-list kind of way.
As Jess and Finn start their community service, it's not just litter they're picking up; it's bad vibes, body parts and power tools. And that's just the morning shift. With a six foot killer rabbit on the estate, a mysterious but easy-on-the-eye barman (HELLO ALEX!) getting Jess a little shaken but not entirely stirred *winks knowingly* and all hell quite literally breaking loose with the arrival of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, it's time to power up. The future's bright. The future's still a dirty shade of orange.
The 8 x 60 min series will be produced by Clerkenwell Films (Afterlife, Persuasion) for transmission on E4 later in 2012. Matt Strevens (Skins) produces while Nirpal Bhogal, Jonathan Van Tulleken and Dušan Lazarevic take on co-directorial duties.
Creator Howard Overman (Misfits, Merlin) and Jon Brown (Fresh Meat, Mongrels) are on writing duties, and executive producers for Clerkenwell Films Murray Ferguson and Petra Fried both return. The new series has been greenlit by Drama Commissioning Editor Sophie Gardiner.
