Hmm. I wonder if the winner of this Contest will get a "Shining Star."
We used to have about five days to create an avatar and one week-day and one week-end-day to do the voting -this is too little time for me to come up with something and make an avatar out of it I think (I'll still be trying though -even if this round (great theme

Thanks a lot, but I think wood looks like foliage, water looks like gift-wrapping, earth looks like rust and metal looks like a tribble in a warp-core breach.. I'll see what I can do to it -should have time enough to change those things!

No worries. My avatar didn't come out the way I hoped.
^Your four segments actually look quite a bit like depictions of the four elements you were trying to depict, mine look like someone filled the segments in with a cheap crayon 
well it's hard to get an avatar that depicts four, let alone, five different concepts at once, especially non-gifs. My avatar has a lot of imperfections that I couldn't fix, but hey it's all in fun. Yours has more symbolic meaning as well.
