Welcome to the new Misc Avatar Contest! Hmm, what to use as a theme? Well, let's see, I sometimes take my inspiration from current events, so let's see what's going on...

On second thought, maybe what we actually need is some small relief from what's going on... we need an injection of adorableness, stat!

Our theme for this contest is Adorable Baby Animals... the cuter, the better!

Standard avatar rules apply: maximum dimensions of 200 x 200 pixels, and maximum file size of 1 MB. It is OK to use an animal that has already been entered (ie - more kittens are welcome! ) as long as the picture itself is different. Contest will be open for about a week.

Oh, and despite the title, your animals do not actually have to be in a basket...

,, it's too bad doing a google deep dream images isn't allowed. I am learning how to make things looking like this.

Google deep dream and the oracle virtual machine soon to mix into something new.. I guess I should try a basket of things...I never get the popular vote on these --- but I will try a post again gimme a day or so, to gift wrap something suitable...

oky doky from a cat image of the three cats I would photo every week or twice a week for about seven to ten years of constant photographing I have lots of images to choose from this is moraine that she would only let her owner pet her but I got to take images of her... this image was gified by google photo assistant and then I downloaded it and edited the size the three cats passed last year... very sad and very close to each other in when they passed

thanks for the sympathy it was in 2015 actually -- as I check the blog info..

the three cats and their owners were distraught the person keeping the blog on the cats one blog for each cat I would photo every week or more.. posted photos here- http://arithecat.blogspot.com/ at the blog there are links to the other 2 catblogs --- this is ari

Hi @CutieMcWhiskers , always good to see new people in the contest! (And your username is somehow very appropriate for this one! ) However, there are a few things that I should mention:

1. The general rules for the Misc avatar contest is that media images (TV shows, movies, etc) are not allowed, unless specifically indicated otherwise. Since your images are all from a television show, they wouldn't be eligible. My apologies for not explicitly mentioning this on in the OP.

2. As mentioned in the OP, the maximum size your images can be is 200 x 200, so even if they weren't from a TV show, all of these would be too big.

3. Unless mentioned otherwise, you can only have one entry.

I will hold off posting the poll until tomorrow, in case you would still like to enter something. Sorry for any inconvenience.
