After watching "Extraordinary Birder" on NatGeo Wild, I thought it might time for a bird-thread, so this week's av contest is devoted to birds---any and all types of birds. They must be real birds, not fictional or extinct, but birds that actually exist somewhere on the planet today. No fictional characters from TV or movies, please.

You may enter up to three avatars. Since I started the contest, I will only enter two. The voting thread will go on Aug. 7th, or thereabouts.
