Mirror Universe STM issue

JD

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
I finally got my hands on this today while out grocery shopping, and what I saw while skimming seems reallyu good, like usual.

I'm suprised that KRAD included all of the Shards & Shadows stories in the timline.

^ Why not? It's not as though most of those stories weren't written something like close to a year ago :D

I was just suprised to see stories that have't hit the shelves yet, that's all. But I guess it does serve as a good sneak peek at what's to come.
EDIT: Oh, no I just meant as a thread to discuss the issue.

They'll be hitting the shelves any week now, and the alternative is to have the timeline be out of date less than a month after it's published. :)

Besides, it's not like I gave anything away. The only story that I "gave away" the ending to was garamet's story, and we knew the ending the that one back in "Mirror, Mirror." :D

I take it the story will have Mirror Kirk's command "transfer" from Mirror Pike.

I got a chance to read over the timeline today, and all of the stories sound really cool. Of all the stories "The Black Flag" and "Empathy" are the two I'm most curious to read, I can't wait to see what the Vanguard and Titan characters are like in the MU. Especially Ree, I can't wait to see what Mirror Ree is like.

When Shards and Shadows got pushed back a few months in the schedule, the corresponding Star Trek Magazine issue went with it - at one point IDW's series, Shards & Shadows and our special were all going to hit the streets pretty much simultaneously. But that's publishing...!

Marco and Margaret were very much part of the planning of the timeline, and were fine with such details as are printed. Believe me, it doesn't give away anything like what you think it does!

However, there's one error - we omitted to credit Mike Friedman's Three in the story list at the end... sorry, Mike!
