The discussion threads for the Miracle Day episodes so far are filled with questions about how far immortality goes, and what would happen to people in certain hypothetically fatal situations. That's fine, of course those threads are the perfect spot for all things related to discussions of everything that goes on in those episodes.
However, I feel that potential immortality scenarios is a discussion worthy of its own thread. So this thread is for anyone with questions or thoughts on the immortality and its effects. I'll start with something I've been wondering.
Of course, it's been made clear that everyone on Earth has been made immortal. But what about people not on Earth, like those on the International Space Station? Or even, if we were to accept continuity from Doctor Who and SJA, on UNIT's moon base? Did the "Miracle" effect them and make them immortal? And if so, what would happen if they went out in space without a spacesuit? Or is it possible they were left mortal due to being outside Earth?
