What height is the squid tank at? They changed the squid spawning algorithm a while back so that they only spawn between levels 45-62, in order to prevent them from spawning in absurd locations like they used to. It's possible that that's what broke the squid tank, if the spawner isn't somewhere between those levels then squid might not be able to spawn. Just a guess.

Yeah, there was a lot of lag last night. I was wondering if it maybe was due to that or if it that happened later after I had gone.

No, the only lag was before the spawners got adjusted to a reasonable volume. Actually, I only noticed it happening once myself.

I gave it a whirl today. I didn't do much, just patching up the village in my SP world with the new blocks. I especially like the new sideways logs, the roof of my inn is now finally as I originally intended it! There are a few MP bugs that I noticed, such as mobs randomly melting through the floor, and on two occasions I took damage for no discernible reason, but nothing majorly screwy so far.

Yeah I saw that. The sideways logs were a last minute addition.

I kinsa like the cocoa pods. I got a texture pack that has them in green/yellow/red. So they add a nice bit of color to my jungles. Also made a couple of Enderchests, but damnit, my game must be cursed, because I keep clicking the wrong buttons by mistake and losing them.

What I really want to do is find a village and do some trading. But sadly, they seem to be few and far between in my SP world.
