So that will be at least two DW graduates! Good to see the talented Mr Clarke getting a Hollywood break.

Yep, he was in The Long Game, in Eccleston's season.
But there's actually at least three- Deep Roy, who played Keenser, was Mr Sin in Talons Of Weng-Chiang.
(There's also W Morgan Sheppard in both, but he was in DW after the Trek movie)
Holy shit, this is probably the first positive thing I've heard about this movie.
Also, holy shit, Noel Clarke is 36? That means he would have been 30 or so when he first showed up on Doctor Who? I thought he was younger, maybe 25 or so in season 1. That is after all, how old Mickey was supposed to be back then, and Clarke looked the age. Huh.

This is awesome news but will he play someone or a relative of someone we are familiar with?
Benedict as the villain, f*cking awesome. I'm now convinced that JJ and co must have a major boner for shows Stephen Moffat's involved in!
I don't know if it's nessessarily that but maybe he recognizes talent or that Doctor Who is a worldwide phenomenon and that actors familiar to said Doctor Who fans will help the movie.
So thrilled and happy Noel will be in the movie. He should really help get interest in the film thanks to his fan base with Dr Who.
Here an interesting thought: Will he be using his British accent or an American accent?
