"Miami Vice" Reboot in Development

It'll suck if they use today's music and make it unwatchable. I watched every episode. Imagine this scene with some sort of awful hip-hop backed by poorly syncopated bass.

like literally one of the first rappers was on the soundtrack.

All those undercover operations in the same neighborhood and never getting figured out, Crockett was Stabler before Stabler.
As I watched the show I often asked myself that: how are these two able to get away with using the same aliases and not getting caught? Further they show up to a crime scene as cops and no one from the opposition is watching and says "Hey these guys calling themselves Burnett and Cooper were at the crime scene, I think they might be cops?"
I find it similar to how James Bond always manages to stay undercover....

If you want all style and no substance, pass on the "Miami Vice" knock off "Stingray".
