Meyer involved in Trek (1)4?!

I've seen it suggested that Metyer and CBS could be involved with TV movies to stream on All-Access. I seriously doubt it, but I wonder the specifics of Paramount's exclusive Trek movie deal. Does it only cover cinematic movies, or TV/straight-to-streaming ones as well?
That's an interesting question as it's unexplored territory for Star Trek. It's probably time something like that happened, though. Perhaps as a stand-alone animated movie like what DC does.

I could see them doing a Khan movie. Benedict Cumberbatch is a big star so you could easily build a movie around him. YOu could even do the Eugenic's War which would be fun just to see what they would do with the stuff of it happening in the 1990's.

Jason

Maybe the next movie will kick off a series of 'Anthology' standalone type movies to come out between the Kelvin ones ..the first being centred around Khan (Prime - 1990s EW/exile? Ceti Alpha V survival? Kelvin - pre/post STID Cumberkhan?)

or maybe season two of STD will be Khan based? (the each season a different setting thing)

It's hard to even get enough people interested in a real Trek movie that features iconic characters like Kirk and Spock. I don't see people queueing to see a Trek anthology movie about some character most people outside the fandom don't know.

Trek isn't Star Wars.

Actually Nicholas Meyer has a 2 for 2 as a Trek director (TWOK, TUC) and a 3 for 3 streak as a Trek screenwriter (TUC, TVH, TUC)

I'm not picking on you specifically but I think it's fair to suggest that all art is subjective. If someone believes Meyer is 1 for 2 or 2 for 2 in regards to his Trek directing career, shouldn't that be okay? It's all opinion and personal preference.

You're not picking on me specifically only you kinda are. No offense, but did you read the post that I quoted? Or the previous one that he/she quoted?

I just found it odd that you quoted only me when we all used the exact same phrasing with mostly the same percentages!

Look, I've had a very shitty few days. I'm not on top of my game. I probably just shouldn't have commented in the first place. Can we let it go at an apology?
