Message In A Bottle, A Very Rare Episode!

Then again though, who'd be able to tell from looking at it, which model it was? Sure Picardo might be the 'default mode' for the MK1. But who's to say a Mk 4 user couldn't use the same 'wallpaper' if they wanted?

"Message in the Bottle" was one of the rare excellent episodes STV has made.
And for once, The Doctor didn't irritate me too much! And sometimes, he even managed to make me laugh a little (generally when he was rebuffed by Seven or Janeway and he reacted with sarcasm.)

I liked The Mark II, the EMH program of USS Prometheus. He is as insolant, egocentric, arrogant but brillant at the same time as The Doctor but as it's in small dose, it's more bearable to me.
The sparring matches between both Doctors were often rather delicious. At the certain moment, some reactions of Mark II were very funny there.

In brief, an episode pleasant to watch, in particular for the very positive message which is passed by The Doctor to Janeway/Chakotay/Tuvok at the very end.
The Federation will finally get back USS Voyager 3 years later! ;)

I'm beginning to think Starfleet ships have simplified drawings next to the controls.

I suppose our EMH just stopped reading too soon. The full warning message probably said:

"Secondary gyrodyne relays in the propulsion field intermatrix have depolarised. Push button to make it go."

Good episode and fun to watch but I didn't quite buy the whole Vector Assault Mode...whatever that even is. Most ships would be firing several rounds of phasers and torpedos before the Prometheus is done de-coupling and ready to go.

I don't get why if 3 ships are better than 1 ship, then why not just send 3 ships? Why this elaborate waste of time and resources on building a ship that was meant to be 3 ships and then wasting even more time and resources each time it goes through this dramatic vectoring sequence. It was more of an idea for TV than anything else methinks.

Sometimes "because it looks badass" is all the reason writers need.
