What else can you do as stress relief?The thought of going back to retail again, without the time at a sanctuary with the animals as a possible stress relief, has me feeling really nervous now.
Sounds like it. Anything else, like meditation or calming music or other self-care activities?Well, I have our dogs, and my bike rides (with horse visits) and walks with my mom and the dogs. Hopefully that will be enough.

Meditation and pace breathing can be helpful. Anxiety is our body's fight or flight response on overdrive, so identifying ways to tell yourself there is no danger can reduce the somatic response. Yoga is great, because it focuses the body's energy. Positive affirmations, like "I can do this." "I am enough" or "I can handle this" can be helpful but best to write them down.I'm gonna try to find something else, the anxiety is so bad today that I just can't do the interview. If I really can't find anything else in the next few days, I'll try and fight through it, but it's really hitting hard.
