Men of a Certain Age

I'm going to wait until the season is over to check this out, but I have seen buses and billboards galore in Atlanta advertising the show.

I like this a lot, so far. I only started watching it due to Bakula (and he's by far the coolest of the three main characters) but I like the stories and the characters. This mix of humour and serious stuff is my kind of thing.

So far it looks interesting. It's not what I thought it would be but that's not a bad thing. The fact they let them cut loose more than network television helps too. The show doesn't feel as restrained.

Anyone still watching this show? Apparently Ray Romano's character is supposed to be neurotic with over analyzing and what not and his son is supposed to be a more extreme version. And I have to say the son's problems are bringing the show to a grinding halt. First he froze up when getting on a bus so he never got on. Then he was playing baseball and froze up and couldn't step up to bat.

I actually kinda like this show. However I actually wish it was called Man of a Certain Age and that it was only about Andre Braugher character of Owen. His plot line is the most compelling of the three and Andre is a way better actor then Ray and Scott.

I'm still watching and I really enjoyed the last episode. I agree that Owen has the best storyline, so far, though it appears Joe might now have a compelling one, either. They kind of abandoned Terry a bit, even though he had the best lines in the first few episodes.

I agree completely. Owen's the reason to watch the show, frankly.

I don't know, I do like the Ray Romano character. He's like a more realistic version of the character from the sitcom.

That said, this show has become one of my favourites of the season. I always wanted to have a show about guys who just hang out - without any of the crappy teen angst - and this is it. I hope it's doing well for TNT because I could watch this for a few more seasons.

I am still liking this series although the problems with Romano's son are bordering on off-putting in how ridiculous they are.

I'm really enjoying the show. Owen is really an interesting character. The drama at the car dealership is what keeps me watching.

The formula of three middle-aged pals is working just fine for me. Owen is happily married, so his stories aren't going to be all that interesting every week.

I'm still not sure what really happened to Joe when he yelled "leg cramp!"
