My absolutely favorite pictures to appear in any caption thread are these. How is your son doing, Joe? Do you have any new pictures to post?

Hey, that's nice of you to say. The boy is doing okay-to-good. He's getting over colic and moving on to probably being allergic to the even-remotely affordable baby formula.

The doctors have ruled out anything serious, thank goodness. He's up to 15 pounds at three months, so the little bugger is getting nutrients. He's just a cranky little shit, off and on.

Here are a few recent pictures:

When the baby is raising Hell and Mommy is dealing with him, Miranda dresses up like a princess, jumps in the air, and I catch it with the camera. I have fifty or so shots of this, which we set to music on the computer and she laughs and laughs.

Some are. I'm wincing at the "blowjob" ones in the current thread. PG-13 guys!

But some are hilarious. People have some imagination around here. I mean come on, Carl Spock?

We've have got a lot more laughs out of Star Trek had some of these been the show reality!

I've got to agree with our fearless leader here. Those made me squirm, too. Innuendo is always funnier than blatant sexuality.

I agree as well. I don't mind dipping a little into the gutter. I do it myself. But like T'Bonz says - PG-13.

If that's your opinion, than I won't post anything similar in the future, but I just want to point out that this isn't an invention in the current thread and was done in the past in the various contests (one of those photoshops even won a contest recently), without anyone posting concerns (and that includes vivid threads participants now all of the sudden sharing your concerns ), so I didn't thought it would be a problem. If anybody had raised this point in the past I hadn't made the photoshop, and since I now know your standpoint, I won't do so in the future.

Defcon, please, please keep posting, just like before. I know I've posted things that shouldn't have gone up. I'm more guilty than any of us. Even Shatmandu PM'd me a picture of Gary Seven with his...well, let's not go there...because he thought it might be over the line. It's just every now and then we have to be reminded not to play with ourselves in public.

Hey, I just wanted to point out that I wouldn't have posted the photoshop had I known it was considered on/over the line. Another problem is that I don't really see how it isn't PG-13, it's not as if there is really anything to see in these photoshops *shrug* , but that could be a thing, where different cultural views come into play. While in the US there often is an outcry (and I don't want to say that this was an outcry ) when it comes to sexual things, here in Germany it's often violence/horror that is looked at very strict.

And I never considered that I wouldn't add some captions/photoshops in the future, I just won't do any borderline ones anymore now that I know there are concerns about them. Sorry for being unclear in my initial post.

^ To be honest, I didn't even know what PG-13 was until I looked it up on Wikipedia recently. Germany has a different ratings system. Also, I don't think I've ever seen an offensive Photoshop in one of the Caption Contests here. I think they are all in good fun and rather harmless ...
