Is this a reference to George Takei's time in a Japanese internment camp as a child? I have been assuming so, because it makes no real sense otherwise.. like it's on the surface about the costume dumbness on the dog but it's really a commentary on history's dumbness.

Someone tell me if this is correct.

Oh, for heaven's sake! An innocent joke about a badly made up dog and it gets an insane knee-jerk reaction like this.

I know some people love to find offense with everything so they can shout from their soapbox, but this scraping the bottom of the barrel. In fact you've actually gone through the bottom of the barrel and about a mile underneath it.
